Vocational certificate in agriculture are offered in nine agricultural colleges (NCVA level 2); one-year follow-on NCVA level 3 certificate.

Horsebreeding: vocational certificate in horsebreeding and training (NCVA level 2) offered by Kildalton Agricultural College and Grennan College; one-year follow-on NCVA level 3 certificate.

Foestry: vocational certificate in forestry (NCVA level 2) in Ballyhaise Agricultural College; one-year follow-on NCVA level 3 certificate.

Horticulture: national diploma in horticulture offered by Kildalton and Waterford IT; College of Horticulture at the National Botanic Gardens and Blanchardstown IT; Warrenstown Agricultural College and Blanchardstown IT. Vocational certificate in horticulture (NCVA level 2) in An Grianan, Kildalton and Warrenstown colleges. NCVA level 3 add-on available.
