The BA in business studies with arts administration at the Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art Design and Technology is a four-year degree course. It was offered through the CAO for the first time in 2001. The points settled at 345 in the final round.
UCD offers a one-year MA in cultural policy and arts management. Applicants come from a variety of primary degree backgrounds but are advised to gain experience in an arts organisation.
NUI Galway offers a one-year higher diploma in arts administration; applicants must also have a proven interest in the arts as well as their primary degree.
Arts managers often earn less than managers in other industries and graduates can expect to earn anything from €15,000 to €30,000.
