Those living in multi-channel land may already be aware of a programme, Questions Pour Un Champion, on the French TV station TV5. The programme is currently looking for participants to take part in an international version of the programme. So if your general knowledge and French are up to scratch you could be the one of four Irish people who will go to Paris to represent Ireland in the quiz. Pre-selection heats for the programme will take place in Dublin on Saturday, March 24th, and in Cork on Tuesday, March 27th. The heats take place at the Alliance Francaise building at No 1, Kildare Street, Dublin, and in the Alliance Francaise building at Enterprise House, 36 Mary Street, Cork. Those interested need to fill out and return an application form before March 10th. Forms are available from the French Embassy, Cultural Service, Concours Questions pour un Champion, 1 Kildare Street, Dublin 2, or via e-mail from education@ambafrance.ie
