Professor Howard Gardner is a developmental psychologist whose proposal that we all have a multiplicity of intelligences has been hailed as a profound insight into education. He is Hobbs Professor of Cognition and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and you'll have a chance to hear what he has to say when he gives a public lecture on Multiple Intelligences for the 21st Century in Boole 4 Lecture Theatre, UCC this Thursday, at 8 p.m. His lecture coincides with the NUI's conferring him with an honorary doctorate.
