SPECIAL evening session for teachers, guidance counsellors, parents and mature students takes place at the RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin, on Thursday, September 19th.

More than 240 colleges, including all the Irish universities, the DIT, regional technical colleges, Post-Leaving Certificate colleges, and British universities will provide information on colleges and courses. All central applications systems will be represented - CAO/CAS for Irish colleges, UCAS/ADAR for UK colleges and SCOP for colleges of higher and further education in England.

The evening begins at 7 p.m. There will be a lecture on the admissions systems for Irish and British colleges at 7.30 p.m., to be repeated at 8.30 p.m. The conference closes at 10 p.m.

Tickets cost £4 each and are available at the door (Merrion Road entrance) on the night or from the Irish Times front office in D'Olier Street, Dublin.
