The life assurance company Standard Life has up to 40 vacancies in a variety of areas, including actuarial, general management, IT, investment, property, accounts and personnel.
Any 2:1 degree or higher is acceptable for personnel, general management, IT (candidates should have good numeracy skills) and accounts, though an accountancy or business qualification is a help for the last in this list. For information systems, a 2:2 degree is acceptable. Actuarial candidates require a maths based degree, while investment candidates should have economics or maths.
