The Irish agency for the Leonardo da Vinci II programme will start announcing this year's selection results this Friday. Forty-five educational, training and commercial bodies around the country await news on whether their initial proposals have been chosen. The European Community-funded programme supports the development of new vocational education and training initiatives in 15 EU countries, 13 pre-accession countries and in Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
