THE DIT is considering special quota arrangements, from this year, for students who have successfully completed NCVA accredited PLC courses and achieved a suitable level of performance. Places are likely to be allocated on the basis of a scoring system to be agreed with the NCVA, subject to any special subject or other requirements that may be specified by the DIT. There are 16 DIT certificate course and one DIT diploma course under discussion.

Each college has specified the relevant NCVA awards which it will accept for entry into national certificate or diploma.
