Career News: Tonight at 7 p.m., Radio Kilkenny's Career Desk, produced and presented by Deirdre Little, will "discuss everything from nursing, engineering and the Garda Siochana to teaching, coputing and marketing" with a panel of experts.

French Test: A drama competition for second-level students will be held once again in Waterford's French Theatre Festival. Next April finalists will perform their 15to 20-minute plays in French for a jury. It costs just £2 to take part, but prizes include a trip to a French theatre festival, a silver cup and a class trip to a festival film in Dublin.
