Irish Prison Education Association Public Lecture: Fr Peter McVerry will give the Liam Minihan Memorial Lecture entitled Rehabilitation: Are We for Real? in the Marino Institute of Education, Griffith Avenue, Dublin today at 7.45pm.

Public Forum at IT Sligo
As part of the process of developing a new strategic plan, IT Sligo is holding a second public forum, which will discuss "The Student Experience, Past, Present and Future". Members of the public are invited to take part.
The evening seminar will take place today at 7pm in lecture theatre A0005 (off main reception area). There will be a series of five-minute presentations from invited speakers, followed by an open discussion which will focus on what students want and their likely needs over the next five years.
IT Sligo is particularly concerned to know the wishes and needs of people who have not had an opportunity to study at third-level before and what steps it should take to facilitate them. Contributions from staff members and the public are welcome.

Senior College Dún Laoghaire Student Exhibition
Blooming Great Design is the title of a student exhibition in interactive media, interior design, garden design and landscape design at Dún Laoghaire Town Hall today, tomorrow and Thursday from 10am to 4 pm. All are welcome.
There is also an open day at the college on Eblana Avenue, Dún Laoghaire on Thursday, May 18th from 2pm to 4pm.
