Royal Irish Academy Public Discussion on Irish Freedom: A History of Nationalism in Ireland

The Royal Irish Academy is hosting a public discussion featuring Dr Diarmuid Ferriter of St Patrick's College, Drumcondra and Prof Richard English, author of Irish Freedom: A History of Nationalism in Ireland. The event will take place at the Royal Irish Academy, 19 Dawson Street, Dublin 2 at 6.30pm tomorrow. Admission is free of charge, but places must be booked in advance. Entrepreneur Learning DVD for Schools

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year programme has launched a DVD learning pack which will be distributed to second-level business study classes and third-level colleges.

A key learning tool on the DVD is a series of case studies on previous Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalists. The six case studies were written as the basis for class discussion and evaluation by leading academics and researchers in entrepreneurship.

Speech and Language Development Seminars

Consultant speech and language therapist Karen O'Connor will deliver a series of information evenings around the country over the coming weeks which will be of interest to parents, pre-school teachers, teachers and all who are interested in developing children's speech and language skills. Access All Areas Symposium at Imma

A major international symposium on accessing contemporary art and artists in public museums and galleries will be held at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin, from Thursday, November 9th to Friday, November 10th. Access All Areas will bring together 10 leading international educators, writers and curators who will present a range of perspectives on accessing contemporary art and artists.
