Amnesty International - Voice Our Concern Art Exhibition
Amnesty International's Voice Our Concern programme is a second level human rights education initiative that uses the arts to enable young people to explore human rights issues.
Visual art is the medium used for this year's project, and artists such as Robert Ballagh, Shane Cullen and Vivienne Roche have worked closely with school. An exhibition of the work produced by the participating schools and artists will take place from today until Friday, May 11th in The Atrium, Dublin City Council Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8.

Science Engineering Information Technology Summer School
Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT) is holding its annual science engineering information technology summer school from June 11th to 15th. The activities are designed for students from first year to pre-Leaving Certificate. Among the topics covered are forensics, drugs and medicines, engineering, web design, environmental science and biotechnology.

A Franco-Irish Dialogue
The Migration and Citizenship Research Initiative and Humanities Institute of Ireland, UCD is hosting a conference in association with the Cultural Service of the French embassy on Monday, May 14th from 9.30am to 5pm in the Humanities Institute of Ireland, UCD.
The conference offers a platform for a comparative Franco-Irish dialogue on the economic and cultural implications of migration and related societal change.

Lecture on the History of the Quakers in Limerick
Hiram Wood, who chairs the Limerick Civic Trust, will present a history of the Quaker movement in Limerick, with particular reference to people in industry and business in the Limerick area. The lecture will take place at The Hunt Museum, Limerick on Tuesday, May 15th at 1pm.
