TCD Research Opportunities Open Day
TCD will host its first research opportunities open day today from 2pm to 8pm. Anyone with a specific interest in an area of research or who is considering a research programme will get the opportunity to meet experts from every school, who will be available to offer personal advice in their respective field of research and answer queries.

Fulbright Lecture at National College of Ireland
The National College of Ireland is hosting a lecture by Prof Chip Bruce, Distinguished Fulbright Visiting Scholar 2007-08, entitled "A Radical Vision for Third-Level Education Today: Re-Connecting with Community". Lunchtime Lecture at the Hunt Museum, Limerick
On Tuesday, March 11th at 1pm the lunchtime lecture at the Hunt Museum will be delivered by Dr David Fleming, who holds a post- doctoral fellowship at UL and is also the acting course director for the MA local history programme there. The intriguing title of his lecture is "Noise and its importance in 18th century Ireland". All welcome.
