THREE CDVEC colleges in the Crumlin area of Dublin are this year again running a joint open day, on Wednesday, February 5th. The information session will operate at Crumlin College, Pearse College and St Kevin's College. A shuttle bus will operate between them between 1 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. on the day. All are welcome.
The colleges offer courses covering post Leaving Cert, Adult Education, Second Chance Education, VTOS and repeat Leaving Cert. Stuff and students will be on hand to discuss the courses.
Under VTOS, eligible unemployed adults can return to full-time education without losing their benefits. Mature Students may also be accepted on courses subject to interview.
Rathmines Senior College, Dublin 6, will hold an open day on Thursday, February 6th between 1.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. for parents, students and career guidance counsellors.
There is also an open day in the Senior College Ballyfermot, Ballyfermot Road, Dublin 10 on Friday, February 7th between 9.30 a.m. and 5.00 p.m., featuring its range of certificate and diploma PLC courses.
Further studies THE Dun Laoghaire Institute of Further Education, which comprises three colleges, will hold an information day for school-leavers in the Royal Marine Hotel next Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Course directors from Senior College Dun Laoghaire; Senior College Sallynoggin and the Community College Dun Laoghaire will be present.
