For the third year, a poetry anthology by children will be celebrated and launched at the Poetry Now Festival in the Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown area. This Saturday in Dun Laoghaire's County Hall, pupils from three schools who have been involved over the past two months in producing the book as part of the festival's programme will be in attendance.

There will be a special children's morning with writer Gordon Snell and the children. The three participating schools this year are St Oliver Plunkett's National School in Monkstown; St Kieran's Primary School in Bray, Co Wicklow, and the Good Shepherd National School in Churchtown, Co Dublin. The book has been produced in a series of workshops under the guidance of artist Julie Merriman and writer Lucinda Jacob in association with Kids' Own Publishing Partnership Ltd.
