AN ICL COMPUTER is up for grabs in the ICL Irish Science Journalists' Association New Journalist of the Year competition, which aims to foster science and technology journalism in this country.

The competition, now in its seventh year, has been extended to Northern Ireland and is open to all third level students, recent graduates and journalists aged 23 or under on April 16th who are normally resident in Northern Ireland or the Republic.

Prizes, including runner up cash prizes of £200 and £100, will be awarded to the best published or broadcast material relating to science or technology, including material published in college newspapers or newsletters.
