What the bloggers thought of the French exams
HOW I’VE hated it for all these years. How it’s made my blood boil, my stomach churn and my head ache. As of about 1pm this afternoon, I can safely say, I will never EVER be using it again.– Jennie on leaving-cert.net
Listening was loooovely. Topics for written were grand and so was first reading comprehension. Thought the second one was a bit tricky though. – boards.ie
So glad I didn’t drop to OL [ordinary level]. So, so glad. I might have even got a C, if my examiner is feeling nice. Yay! I do pity the history people though. Loooong afternoon ahead of them!– Aoife on leaving-cert.net
For biology I’m not sure what I should be studying as the course is so huge . . . Hopefully study tonight and this afternoon will refresh everything and biology will go as well as French. – Elizabeth on leaving-cert.net
I thought French was a fair paper. I was considering going down to pass just before the exam because I was worried I wouldn’t understand the questions but glad now I didn’t!! . . . The diary entry was very open, you could write on anything! I thought the tape was ok as well – it was very clear . . . So overall I think I did better than I expected! – Allhonours.ie
After six years of learning French simply for the purpose of this exam, I’m at a bit of a loss now that it’s over. The written paper this morning was, in one word, “lovely” . . . Eight exams down, two to go. Can’t you almost taste the freedom? It’s so close! - Grace on leaving-cert.net
