Scealta Shamhna 2000, a festival of storytelling and music, has arrived in the capital with perfect timing. The theme, Imirce . . . migrations, brings together the histories and cultures, both ancient and modern, of Ireland and New Zealand. There's nothing quite like old storyteller magic to capture the mood of the long nights and this 10-day event offers plenty to capture and hold audiences of all ages. It began last Friday but there's still a great deal to hear and see before it comes to a rousing end in the National Museum in Collins Barracks on Sunday, November 12th.
