The annual national school table quiz tournament, organised by the National Parents Council (Primary), is now underway. Sponsored by Cadbury Ireland, the NCP Challenge all-Ireland schools' quiz is now in its 10th year.

Every primary school in Ireland is invited to participate. Schools will take part in regional qualifiers, with the top two teams from each county going forward to the all-Ireland final in Dublin in April.

The prize for the winning team - and two adults - is a trip to Cadbury World in Bournville, Birmingham.

Margaret O'Donoghue, national co-ordinator of the NCP (Primary) encourages all primary schools to participate in the quiz.

"The feedback from all those involved is always fantastic and we hope to continue the success of the quiz and ensure that more schools participate each year."
