Conservation At The Zoo

Some of the most interesting TY environmental programmes take place at Dublin Zoo. The Environmental Awareness module, aimed at first to fifth years, challenges students to investigate the threats facing global wildlife. What will be the consequences for biodiversity, and are we living through the sixth great extinction? Separately, a conservation module encourages students to reflect on and discuss the effect of humans on the natural world. For more information, contact the education department on 01-4748932 or e-mail: education@dublinzoo.ie
