It will be a whirlwind few weeks for the cast and crew of Zoe's Play, by John McArdle, which plays the Kennedy Centre in Washington DC at the end of this month.
The production from the Ark, the children's cultural centre in Dublin, is currently being staged in Sligo with special school and public performances.
On its return from the US, fans can catch Zoe in Longford in early June from Tuesday, June 6th, to Friday, 9th,; then it's in in Portlaoise, in the Dunamaise Theatre and Centre for the Arts. Then the cast and crew travel to the Garter Lane Arts Centre in Waterford, opening on Tuesday, June 20th. The acclaimed play, aimed at nine to 13 year olds, will be presented in Washington as part of New Visions 2000: One Theatre World, a showcase of theatre for young audiences, as well as in a Irish arts festival.
Zoe, played by Pauline Hutton, is an only child with a gift for imagining and a love for the animals that live beside her home - including wolves.
