CAPE TOWN - President Nelson Mandela's African National Congress (ANC) yesterday denounced last week's local elections as flawed and unfair. The ANC's Western Cape provincial leader, Mr Chris Nissen, said his party would not accept the elections because of vote counting mistakes. Mr F. W. de Klerk's National Party took control of four of Cape Town's six subcouncils and reaffirmed its dominance of the Western Cape.
