Ernie Els cantered to a 10-shot victory at the Johnnie Walker Classic in Perth to land his fourth title in five weeks.
The South African, who won the title in 1997, held a nine-shot lead heading into the final round and finished with a 29-under-par aggregate of 259.
Els is playing the best golf of anyone in the world at present and was a class apart at the Lake Karrinyup Country Club this week.
Tiger Woods, playing his season-opening event at the Buick Invitational, will be casting nervous glances over his shoulder.
It was Els' fifth win in six starts and followed 2003 victories at the Mercedes Championship, Sony Open and Heineken Classic.
He has won a cool Stg£1.43million in five weeks.
Els' nearest challengers were Australians Stephen Leaney and Andre Stolz, who both shot six-under rounds of 66 to finish tied for second on 19 under for the tournament.
"This week everything went right," he said.
"I had a great time. The greens are soft; the wind stayed away all week - and I could just go out there and attack the golf course.
"I was trying to establish myself early. I got away with a couple of wayward shots - but from four on I began to focus on what I had to do.
"The way I am playing now is some of the best golf I have ever played. The whole package is pretty good at the moment."
Defending champion Retief Goosen, who won with similar ease here last year, tied for fourth on 17 under par, his prospects hampered by an opening round of even-par 72 which proved costly.
The South African was level with England's Justin Rose, who made a late dash up the leaderboard with a seven-under 65 for his third consecutive top-10 finish.
Goosen and the newly crowned Johnnie Walker Young Player of the Year split the money with Australia's Robert Allenby, New Zealander Davis Smail and Jean-Francois Remesy who dropped two shots on the last three holes.
