The English Football League have agreed a £95million deal with satellite broadcasters Sky to show matches over the next four years.
The agreement, initially to screen live League football, Worthington Cup and LDV Trophy games, will bring in £20m in the first season.
A total of 60 games a season will be shown and the League could also agree a deal for a highlights package.
Sky intend to broadcast live matches on Saturday evenings at 5.35pm, along with some games on Friday evening and Sunday afternoons.
