England's Luke Donald today claimed his first win on the PGA Tour in America when rain washed out the final round of the Southern Farm Bureau Classic in Mississippi.
Tournament organisers decided to shorten the tournament to 54 holes today because the course was unplayable.
Donald (24) turned professional last year and is the PGA Tour's 18th first-time winner in 2002. He had never finished better than 13th in 41 tour starts.
On Saturday he shot a five-under-par 67 to move to 15 under 201, one shot better than rookie Deane Pappas.
