Entries for this year’s Eircom's Golden Spider awards for excellence in online business have risen by 20 per cent and attracted 607 entries.
The awards judge the content, design, navigation and interactivity of internet sites across 24 categories.
A panel of industry judges will pick all but one of the winners with the public invited to vote for their favourite social networking and community website by emailing info@goldenspiders.ie.
A full list of the shortlisted websites in each category is available at www.goldenspiders.ie. The winners will be announced on November 20th.
