Warm spell expected to come to an end this week

Set to be mostly cloudy on Wednesday - but day will start off mainly dry

The first changes in the warm, sunny weather are likely to appear tomorrow, according to Met Éireann. It will be warm and quite humid, with highest temperatures of 20 to 23 degrees. The southern half of the country should stay dry with sunny spells, but it will be cloudier further north with a little light rain or drizzle in parts of Ulster and north Leinster.

It will be mostly cloudy on Wednesday, although it will start off mainly dry. Showers will develop from late morning, with some heavy in the afternoon. Highest temperatures will vary from 17 to 20 degrees.

Today will be dry with sunny spells. Highest temperatures will be between 20 and 23 degrees.
