The European Parliament is organising a competition with a view to the recruitment of Translators (LA6/LA7) and Assistant Translators (LA8) with English mother tongue (and for some other languages). This competition is organised with the Social and Economic Committee, and the Committee of the Regions of the European Union. The closing date is October 16th 1998.
Candidates should have completed a university degree, and have two years experience for Translators (LA7); no experience is required for Assistant Translators. They should have a perfect command of one of the following: German, Greek, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch or Portuguese; and a good knowledge of Finnish, and one of the other official languages of the European Communities.
