Bayonne, France - The home of a former French Basque policeman was attacked with two Molotov cocktails early yesterday, police said. No one was hurt in the attack, which took place at Ustaritz in the Atlantic-Pyrenees as the house had been unoccupied at the time, but two vehicles belonging to the policeman were destroyed. The bombs had been placed under the cars. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack. Police say the target was a member of the Air and Border Police (PAF), who recently retired, and that this was the sixth attack in French Basque country since July.
