Rio Ferdinand will face a Football Association disciplinary hearing at Bolton on Thursday, December 18th, into his failure to take a drugs test.
It is now three months since the England defender failed to turn up for a mandatory test at Manchester United's Carrington training ground. Ferdinand said he forgot to attend the test.
The FA have set aside two days for the hearing, which will take place at the Reebok Stadium.
American football tycoon Malcolm Glazer has increased his stake in Manchester United.
Glazer, who owns Super Bowl champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has steadily increased his stake in the Barclaycard Premiership champions in recent months. Glazer now owns over 37 million shares in Manchester United plc, which gives him a 14.31 per cent stake.
Irish racing magnates John Magnier and JP McManus also increased their stake in recent weeks.
