The draw for the third round of the Carlsberg FAI Cup took place in Dublin this evening.
Last season’s champions, Bohemians were rewarded for their victory over last year’s finalists, Longford Town, with a home tie against Cobh Ramblers.
The tie of the round is most likely to be Kilkenny City hosting Dundalk, who overcame Galway United on Tuesday evening in their second round replay.
Shelbourne face a tricky away day at St Colman’s Park to face Cobh Ramblers, whilst Shamrock Rovers must entertain Monaghan Utd who dispatched Athlone Town in the last round.
The matches are due to take place during the week ending January 13th.
