Former champion jockey Kieren Fallon and weighing-room colleagues John Egan and Eddie Ahern have been fined for breaking rules governing the use of mobile phones on the racecourse.
Fallon was fined £250 for using a mobile in the parade ring prior to a race at Ayr on July 19th. Egan was fined the same amount after he used a phone on the steps of a light aircraft in the centre of the course at Newbury on August 14th.
Ahern was fined £350 after he admitted using a mobile in the changing room at Haydock on May 21th.
Trainer Brian Ellison has been fined £200 for breaching rules concerning the registering of stable staff.
