Racing:  Kieren Fallon has opted to partner Simply Perfect rather than Diamond Necklace in Sunday's Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh.

Both fillies are owned by the powerful Coolmore partners but Fallon has sided with Jeremy Noseda's charge after she finished third to Scarlet Runner in an Ascot Group Three last time.

Fallon partnered the daughter of Danehill when she finished second in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot and Noseda reports her to be in top form as she tries both seven furlongs and Group One company for the first time.

"She is approaching the race in good order," he said. "I feel she will be suited by the step up to seven furlongs and she goes into the race having posted as good a form as anything else in it."

Diamond Necklace, a half-sister to top performer Shamardal, was supplemented for the seven-furlong race earlier in the week despite finishing only sixth in a Leopardstown maiden on her racecourse debut.

The pair feature among 13 declared for the 188,600 feature with Dermot Weld's Supposition well fancied after a runaway success at Galway.

Gaudeamus and Dimenticata renew rivalries for Jim Bolger and Kevin Prendergast respectively after finishing first and second in the Debutante Stakes last time.

Prendergast also has Phoenix Stakes third and fourth Miss Beatrix and Brazilian Bride, while Bolger has a second-string to his bow in Simonetta.

Joining Simply Perfect in the British party will be Mick Channon's Silca Chiave, while Brian Meehan has declared Bicoastal for both the Irish event and the Prestige Stakes at Goodwood.

Alexander Tango, Mythical Echo and Silk Dress complete the line-up.
