About 25 families spent the night outside their homes after a gas leak in north Belfast.
Fire service personnel received a call at about 7.30pm last night that a manhole was on fire on Rosapenna Street, and they found a strong smell of gas.
Initially 35 families left their homes while fire-fighters working with staff from Phoenix Gas monitored the situation.
There was a particular build-up of gas in some houses. Some of the families were allowed back into their homes but 25 families spent the night in a local community centre.
