Two immigrant families have failed to prevent their deportation from Ireland.
The European Court of Human Rights has rejected an application for a stay on the deportation by a Czech family and Nigerian family who both have Irish-born children in their families.
The European Court's decision was relayed to a High Court sitting when both cases came before the court this morning.
Lawyers for the Czech Lobe family were not in a position to receive direction when their case came before the High Court this morning after it was indicated they were not seen since Wednesday when they began proceedings.
Mr Osayande's lawyer indicated he had received no further instructions from their client who remains in custody in Cloverhill Prison in Dublin.
Both families were due to be deported yesterday. It is understood Britain, under the Dublin Convention, has agreed to take both families back as they had initially unsuccessfully applied for asylum in Britain.
