A steady stream of people are continuing to mourn George Harrison in Liverpool.
A condolence book in the Beatles Story museum contained signatures from around 150 people this morning, with a constant queue of four or five people waiting to add their thoughts.
Mr Tom Hughes, of the Lord Mayor's office, said: "We are a bit out of the way here so we are not getting massive crowds but there has been a steady trickle all day. There are more than 1,000 signatures now."
In Cavern Walks, the shopping centre built on Beatles Mecca, Matthew Street, more than 20 floral bouquets had been placed on a statue of the Fab Four along with cards and messages.
A nearby statue of John Lennon had also been adorned with a dozen bouquets. A yellow submarine which stands opposite the Albert Dock was untouched by mourners.
Other Beatles attractions, such as the Magical Mystery Tour company, said they were catering for more visitors.
Mr Eddie Porter, a guide with the Magic Mystery Tour, said: "We have put on an extra bus today, for 50 people. That is on top of the two buses we would normally have, so that is 150 people.
"People are sad about George and they want to talk about him. He was obviously very special to them. We are now stopping at his birthplace at Arnold Grove, in Wavertree Village, for a minute's silence."
The Queen said she was "saddened" by the death of George Harrison as tributes to the former Beatle continued to pour in today.
