Farmleigh to host music festival

Farmleigh is to play host to a free summer music festival on the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Farmleigh is to play host to a free summer music festival on the August Bank Holiday weekend.

The two-day Farmleigh Affair will include performances by Irish and international artists, performing a range of music from traditional to choral.

Artists signed up for the festival include the Mornington Singers, Galway's Grada, Carmen Souza, New York's Hazmat Modine, Justin Adams and Gambia's Juldeh Camara.

The second day of the event will see performances from Motema, Irelands first authentic soukous band, London based Israeli singer Mor Karbasi and Iarla Ó Lionáird.

The Farmleigh Affair will atke place on August 3rd and 4th. Although the event is free, it is ticket only, and can be applied for through www.farmleighaffair.com.
