NEW YORK – The FBI has arrested 14 people on charges related to a cyber attack on PayPal’s website.
The arrests were made across 10 states with a further two people arrested on further cyber-related charges.
In all FBI agents made 35 raids across the US as part of a investigation into “co-ordinated cyber attacks against major companies and organisations”, the FBI said.
As part of the same operation, police in Britain arrested one person and police in the Netherlands arrested a further four individuals all for cyber related cyber crimes.
