Tennis:Roger Federer came from two sets down for the seventh time in his career to beat Argentina's Juan Martin Del Potro in a captivating quarter-final at the French Open tennis championships in Roland Garros.
The Swiss number three seed was in real trouble after losing the opening two sets 6-3, and the second in a tie-breaker, 7-6 (4) but demonstrated his fighting qualities by winning the third 6-2 and his dominance was even more emphatic when he took the fourth, 6-0. He produced 13 winners and no unforced errors to dominate his opponent.
Del Potro tried to rally but there was to be no escape clause and the Swiss master took the final set 6-3 to sustain a challenge that sees him trying to add to the 16 Grand Slam titles he has already won; the last of which though was two years ago.
