Tennis:Top-seeded Roger Federer will open his defence of the men's singles title at Wimbledon against Alejandro Falla of Colombia. Falla is ranked 65 in the world and has never progressed beyond the second round at the All England Club.

Federer, who is second in the world rankings behind Rafael Nadal, is targeting a seventh title. Nadal, Wimbledon champion in 2008 and a three-time finalist, faces Kei Nishikori of Japan in his first-round match.

British hope Andy Murray will meet Jan Hajek of the Czech Republic. The fourth-seeded Scot, who reached the semi-finals year, will be playing Hajek for the first time.

Hajek, 26, has made just one appearance at Wimbledon, losing in the first round 2007.
