Barry Ferguson salvaged Rangers' unbeaten record today when his late penalty earned the Scottish league leaders a 2-2 draw at Aberdeen.

The Scotland midfielder converted his spot-kick 12 minutes from time at Pittodrie to earn a point.

Arthur Numan put Rangers in front but second-half goals from Leon Mike and Darren Mackie turned the match on its head.

But Ferguson stepped up, when Fernando Ricksen was fouled in the area, to level the game and protect Rangers' unbeaten record.
