The design for the Dun Laoghaire ferry terminal in south Co Dublin has been chosen for the finals of an international real estate competition. The contest, sponsored by the elevator company Otis, is organised by the International Real Estate Federation.
The competition was entered by the ferry terminal's contractual engineers, McCarthy & Partners of Dublin, and was one of 35 finalists from a field of over 60 entries in 52 countries. The winner of the competition's Prix d'Excellence will be announced at the federation's annual convention which takes place in Dublin this year between May 24th and May 30th.
