Loyalist protests have caused chaos on Belfast streets for the fifth day in a row and as protesters continue to blockade roads around the city.
A number of roads were closed to traffic as a result of the protests, including Dub Lane and Finaghy crossroads, but a spokeswoman for the PSNI said the roads were now reopened to traffic. A stand-off between police and protestors on the Donegall Road was also resolved earlier today.
The protests caused major delays for motorists in the area, and police were advising drivers to avoid the routes.
However, some routes remain shut, with Seymour Hill and Kingsway in Dunmurry yet to reopen.
The trouble has been sparked by loyalist anger at the decision to reroute and Orange Order parade and the police reaction to the subsequent disturbances.
Motorists leaving Belfast have faced traffic disruption and delays since Monday, while reports claim some ATMs in the city are running out of money because security vans are fearful of being blockaded in the city.
