File sent to DPP over man's death in Wicklow

A file has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions after two men were questioned over the death of a man in Rathnew.

A file has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions after two men were questioned over the death of a man in Rathnew.

The men were arrested in Wicklow this morning and questioned at Wicklow Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

The body of Malcolm Franey (40) was found by family members at his home in Brooklands, Wicklow town on April 13th following an alleged fracas outside a pub in Rathnew, Co Wicklow.

Franey was knocked unconscious during the row.
