Travellers ordered last week to leave a site behind Lamb Doyle's pub in Sandyford, Co Dublin, have moved to an adjacent field owned by a development company, the High Court was told yesterday. The company, Dwyer Nolan Development, Stonebridge House, Stonebridge Close, Shankill, Co Dublin, was granted an injunction restraining the travellers from trespassing on the land at Blackglen Road.

The court was told that two weeks ago the travellers camped on land at the back of the pub. The owner of the lands, Ms Deirdre Jennings, Deeivale, Ticknock, Co Dublin, was granted an interlocutory injunction last week preventing the travellers from remaining on the land.

Later on the day the order was made, the travellers moved to an adjacent field owned by the development company. The site was intended to be developed for housing.

The President of the High Court, Mr Justice Costello, granted the order that the defendants and all persons having knowledge of the order be restrained from trespassing on the company's land at Blackglen Road. He would also make an order directing them to vacate the land. He said there was clearly a very serious trespass.
