In Dublin, Yellow River City Restaurant (basement), 158 Parnell Street, Dublin, was also told to close down because of food safety breaches.

FSAI chief executive, Dr John O'Brien, said: "Whilst the majority of food businesses take their responsibility very seriously, there is a minority that continues to be ambivalent."

Closure orders are served when inspectors believe there is, or is likely to be, a grave and immediate danger to public health at or in the premises.

All businesses served with such orders are named on the FSAI's website at www.fsai.ie
