If you're parched for a traditional music session, get yourself installed somewhere near historic Enniscorthy this weekend where, for the second year running, Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann is holding the All-Ireland Fleadh Ceoil. The town will be rigid with wall-to-wall diddley-aye of the finest quality. About 100,000 people are expected, including performers from Britain, the US, Canada, Europe and Australia. Traipsing the pubs and streets, listen out for local building contractor Paddy Berry, a traditional singer and Wexford song-collector of considerable reknown, who's particularly known for his rendition of that old Wexford Croppy song, Ballyshannon Lane.
