FLS Aerospace announces 150 job losses

Airline maintenance company FLS Aerospace has announced it will cut 150 jobs at its facility in Dublin airport

Airline maintenance company FLS Aerospace has announced it will cut 150 jobs at its facility in Dublin airport. The company currently employs some 1,800 people in Dublin.

The Irish job losses are part of a cost-cutting plan which will see 900 jobs cut from the group’s worldwide operations.

In Dublin, FLSA will downsize in Aircraft Overhaul to bring the business in line with the reduced market demand, the company said.

A proportion of the reduction in group functions outlined above will also come from the Dublin facility, it added.
