The Juventus squad has been hit by a 'flu virus and the club was seeking to postpone the game to allow players recover. But UEFA have turned down their request.

French defender Lilian Thuram today became the latest Juventus star to suffer flu-like symptoms.

The Italian champions had to cancel last night's training session at Old Trafford because of the virus which has already affected coach Marcello Lippi, French striker David Trezeguet, and midfielders Alessio Tacchinardi and Damiano Zenoni.
