Moscow Flyer delighted connections in a workout at Leopardstown racecourse today ahead of his bid for the Arkle Challenge Trophy at the Cheltenham Festival a week tomorrow.

"It all went well - no slip ups. He went two miles round Leopardstown with Barry Geraghty and it was very satisfactory," commented the eight-year-old`s trainer Jessica Harrington.

Moscow Flyer is a general 7-1 chance for the Arkle and Harrington said: "He`s in good form and if he gets there in one piece we are hopeful."

Moscow Flyer has won three of his five starts over fences, including the Denny Gold Medal Chase at Leopardstown in December.

He fell on his chasing debut at Fairyhouse and again on his most recent start in the Baileys Arkle Cup back at Leopardstown last month.

"I honestly don’t know why he fell but I`ve watched the video enough times and he seemed to slip on landing more than anything else," the trainer added.
